Before you start
It is important to understand that explorer provides general information only and does not take into account your objectives, personal financial situation or needs. You should not rely on explorer when making a decision that relates to your financial situation or a financial product, and we suggest you consider obtaining advice from a financial planner before making any financial decisions. A financial planner can consider your personal circumstances and assess your financial needs more broadly to help you optimise your financial position.

Use explorer to plan for your retirement
explorer is a great way to look at your super and see if you can afford to retire earlier, find out how much your retirement could cost and see how any changes you make now might give you more choices.
You get to see your information in a simple graph which is really easy to read. You can also include money you have outside super such as your other investments, the age pension and your partner’s super. And there’s a great dynamic visual tracker in step three where you can see what would happen to your super if you made extra contributions, changed your investments and/or changed your work plans.
By using explorer you should have a better understanding of your super and what you can do to get the retirement lifestyle you want.
